One day at work while feeling an Asian food kick, Allie got the idea that sushi couldn't be too hard to make and surely had to be cheaper than the fresh professional stuff at the Superstore. Lo and behold, it really was easy!!! Eight extra cups of water later and the rice was actually feeling sticky. Here's how mock crab sushi and teriyaki udon noodles turned out. What a feast!
(note the President's Choice toaster oven box/coffee table in the picture lol)
A few days later, the feelings of culinary prowess from sushi making still hadn't worn off for Brent, and he decided to make himself a big batch of wings. Though they look scrumptious, the smell of their heat burned off the nose hairs of anyone walking unsuspectingly down the hall and the drug store ran out of antacids three pounds of the spicy suckers later.
The third delectable treat came in the form of tiny banana slices with brown sugar, wrapped in wonton wrappers and deep fried. Served with ice cream, we scarfed those down like they were dinner, then made more for breakfast!!! Sorry, no pictures, but try them yourself!
