So, how much do you want to keep this truck?

So this is Brent's new project-car. Allie's not sure how she got dragged into this. The truck needing just a new exhaust snowballed into not one but three different mechanics asking "how much do you want to keep this truck?" and handing over quotes of multiple thousands of dollars. The repairs list has piled up to include: rocker panels, paint job, rotors, brake lines, ball joints, air intakes, a slew of dash lights, brake pads, seatbelts, mufflers, exhaust tips, catalytic converters, door locks, wiper blades, clear coat, turtle wax and pinstriping. All told, still thousands of dollars less than any ole' Canadian Tire. 

Not sure why Allie's tool box now has some spare bolts floating around in it....

All told, the home repairs were sort of a success... still some kinks to work out with the brakes, but... yeah. Thousands of dollars less... this is why Brent's going BACK to school in the fall.
